Hi I'm Jeralyn Rydalch

I'm creative, outgoing, a fan of Jane Austen -- But most of all I am a Morman!!

About Me

I was born in Columbus and have lived in Ohio my entire life. I'm not a fan of the humidity but I love the colors and beauty it has to offer. I absolutely love Jane Austen novels and other books based in the 19th century. I recently received my Associates in Business Administration in Ohio and now I am in Ogden, UT to finish my Bachelors degree at Weber State University! I love to stay active by taking part in playing a little Volleyball, Ultimate Frisbee, Softball, and Soccer. I am blessed to have musical talent. I play the violin, piano (top hand), and sing. I love music because it is able to reach the deepest of hearts and move them to spiritual and emotional levels.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I am a true daughter of God. I know that because of this there is NO price that can be paid that my savior hasn't already paid for me and I am so thankful for his sacrifice. I know that there is a way for us to be with families forever and to live with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ again. I love that we are able to receive modern-day revelation through proper priesthood authority so we are never kept in the dark about the problems that we may face. Through our prophet, Thomas S Monson, and his apostles, we are able to receive carefully selected guidance that will enhance our understanding and help us along our path. I know that we too are able to receive personal revelation that can help us in our daily decisions and give us that same direction that we need to not falter. I love this gospel and the knowledge that it gives me.

How I live my faith

As I was growing up, and going through school, the LDS christian faith was the minority. At most we had 8 "Mormons" total -- this was 8/1200 students attending the High School. Although this presented many challenges I grew stronger every time I went to class, or even talked to my friends about the church. It turns out that there are a lot of people that need an escape from peer pressure and conflict. Most of my friends were escaping from just that. They found the peace and love that I expressed, a relief from the pressures of the world. Daily I strive to be a light to others or a refuge from their struggles. I do this by reminding them that they have a Heavenly Father and Savior that loves and knows them. Helping them realize this is how I live my faith -- if I were in their shoes I would want to know that I'm needed for a greater purpose.
