Hi I'm Jordan

I grew up in Kaysville, Utah. I'm studying to become an Electrical Engineer. I love sports and music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up as a member of the Church, but continue to learn and love the gospel more every day. I love playing and watching almost any sports, but I particularly like baseball, basketball, soccer, golf, and football. I love listening to music and singing along, and I also play the piano. I went to one year of college at Brigham Young University, studying Electrical Engineering. My family and friends are a HUGE part of my life, and have been amazing examples to me as I've tried to learn and better myself each day. Now I am a full-time missionary servi in the France Paris mission, and I love serving the Lord and bringing this happiness to others.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up as a Latter-day Saint member, but for most of my life I didn't think much about it. I just went along with the motions that others told me to because it seemed good, but I never really cared. When I was about 15 years old I had a teacher that challenged me to read the entire Book of Mormon, and I am not really sure why this opportunity was different, but I decided to take the challenge. I stayed committed and finished the book after a couple of months, and it changed my life. I didn't even understand most of what I was reading, but the happiness, hope, and sense of purpose that it gave me changed my whole outlook. As I continued to grow and learn this happiness and light within me grew and turned my into a bright, optimistic, happy individual that I am today. I still have many problems, weaknesses, and things to learn, but as my testimony has grown I know that as I just continue to do the things I should, I will grow and become better each day. This message of happiness and hope is one that I have become extremely eager to share. I want others to see what I see, and know what I know so that they can feel what I feel. I am a Mormon because I know that through Christ we become the best that we can be, and that is the only way to reach our full potential. Also I know that Christ and his Atonement give anyone and everyone hope, no matter what stage of their life they are in. I love this message of hope. I also know that we can become Gods and Goddesses, and that is what our Heavenly Father wants for us. It makes me so happy to know that we have a Heavenly Father and an Older Brother who do and will always love and do anything for us. There is always someone that cares, and this is amazing to me. God has so many children, yet he knows and cares for each of us individually. I also know that Joseph Smith is a true prophet and this gospel he restored is the true gospel. Lastly, I know that families can be together forever, and I can't wait to be with mine.

How I live my faith

I was called as a Family Home Evening group leader and a Home Teacher, organizing activities and watching out for assigned individuals in my ward. I try to serve in the community any opportunities I get, and try to be an good example at all times. I have love tutoring and working with struggling youth, and helping those in need. I am now a full-time missionary serving the Lord in Paris, France.
