Hi I'm Megan

I am a student majoring in Visual Communications, I love photography, sports, the outdoors, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college freshman attending school, and eat and breathe visual design. I am majoring in Visual Communications (graphic design), and love photography. I am the first person to be hired as a first-year freshman to work for the school. I am both a Lab Assistant and a Teaching Assistant for the Communications Department. I love every second of it and I learn so much from the people around me. I am the oldest of 4 girls, and my family and I always have a good time when we get together. My entire family, including my extended family, are all members of the church. I absolutely love being outdoors, when it's not windy! I love frisbee, volleyball, swimming, hiking, biking, camping, and anything that could be done outside really. The world is a beautiful place and it's an easy way to relax by being outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

My family has been raised in the gospel. That doesn't mean that I just automatically believed it. I had to learn and pray and find out for myself if this gospel is true, and I have found it to be more real and more special to me than any other idea I've encountered. It's such a blessing to know who I am, where I am in life, and where I am going. It gives me perspective and makes me have hope in the future.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday, and have a calling as a Temple Patron, where I attend the temple and do some work every month. I live the gospel at all times, not just on Sunday. The gospel makes me happy, and it effects every part of my life.

What is being a Mormon like?

It's so joyful. It gives me so much peace to know who I am, and where I am going. I know what I need to do to be the best possible person I am. I know that I am never alone. I know that I can live with my family forever. It might seem hard to keep the standards that we do, but I know it will make me the happiest in the long run, and I know all the doctrine to be true.
