Hi I'm Michael

I was born into the church. I'll be 23 10 days after I leave for my mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to be outdoors. Anything that has to do with water is something that interests me. Surfing, wakeboarding, jet skiis, fishing, boating, canoing, swimming are things that I can never say no to doing. I also enjoy camping, hiking, dirt biking, four-wheeling, mountain biking, shooting, working on cars and hunting. I hope to someday be able to fly helicopters as my dad and grandpa have. I have gone up and flown a few times and the adrenaline rush is amazing. I tend to try and be a daredevil at times. I love skydiving and hope to someday go bungee jumping. I am currently preparing to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I will be serving for two years where I will be giving up anything of the world strictly to do the work of the Lord.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church but fell away in my early 'teens'. Once hitting "rock bottom" I found that I had no direction in life. I had no future in what I was doing and nothing could seem to make me happy. A friend that I went to high school with was very strong in the church and as he came home from his mission he made a distinct impression on me that happiness could be found by reclaiming my roots. Since then I have found for myself that through the atonement of Christ, I can be happy and achieve my highest aspirations.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by constantly striving to be more like Christ. In church and my daily life I love to serve others. Some of the ways I do this are by meeting with individuals each month and share a positive message with them in hopes that it may uplift their minds and strengthen their faith.
