Hi I'm Kristen

I love the color green, the poet Shakespeare, the presence of literature, and the glory of sunsets. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am quite fond of giraffes and sea lions, and in fact the very earth that testifies of our divine heritage and the spirit of God moving upon the earth. I am a cellist and cello teacher, and a lifetime devotee to music. I am a university student studying English and Women's studies. I adore literature, the study of the human soul and experience and how we can come to know God as we find truth and purity. I love to run. I love to write. I love the sea. I love color. I love rain. I love feeling. I love.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I was raised in the gospel and learned early on that it is true. I have had some very turbulent times, however, and have become converted as I have come to know my Savior, Jesus Christ through immense pain. As I find more truth and beauty in the world, I become more and more grateful for the gospel, for all good things testify of Him. The church represents His presence on the earth and it resonates in me and with the eternal truths that I believe are a part of all of us.

How I live my faith

I believe that our Heavenly parents are in everything good, beautiful, and true. As I seek after truth and wholeness in the world, I hope to see the presence of God and to be a living testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. They are in every moment, of every thing. I have been called to serve a full time mission for the church in just a few months. I will be going to Boston, Massachusetts and I am thrilled beyond words. I can't wait to share the message of Jesus Christ who has the power to heal and make us whole.
