Hi I'm Nathan

I love my family and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I have lived in the UK most of my life , I grew up in Stoke-on-Trent and lived there until the age of 19 when I decided to serve as a missionairy for the church. I served in South Africa and loved the place, people and getting to know my saviour Jesus Christ and teaching people about his Gospel. Since then I have lived in several areas of the UK, I now live in the Huntingdon area with my wife and my daughter who are the light of my life. I love being with them. I enjoy being outdoors, playing sport, reading, attempting to learn the guitar and being with family. I earn a living as a qualified accountant.

Why I am a Mormon

Ever since I was a child I had a great love for my Heavenly Father and his Son, Jesus Christ. I have found through living the gospel that I have being so greatly blessed in my life and that simply I have found great happiness when I have lived according to God's Plan. Through recognising my Heavenly Father's presence in my life I am content and grateful for what he has given to me, realising that if I depend on him he will continue to bless me all the more. I have found out for myself through study and prayer that the Book of Mormon and the Bible are the Word of the God and that by living by their precepts I have been able to develop a stronger relationship with my Saviour Jesus Christ. I have found the answers to life's questions through turning to God in this way, and although I still have my challenges and struggles I have found power to overcome them when leaning upon the Lord's strength and teachings. As a member of the church I believe that God still speaks to us today through living Prophets and that he cares for me and will give me personal guidance in my life as I seek it. I have felt his hand many times in my life and have felt the power of his spirit testify to me that this is his Church.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith each day my looking for oppurtunities to help others. I attend church weekly and help maintain the financial records and membership records in our local congregation. I believe that it is in our everyday actions and how we treat others that we show God that we truely want to follow him. Small things like showing kindness to those we love is a good start, the challenge is to apply this to friends, colleagues and strangers alike - my faith in Christ helps me want to be better at being Christlike to all.
