Hi I'm Carli

I'm an editor, I'm a dancer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student looking forward to graduation soon, and then onward to further schooling or employment, or both! I love yellow things because they help me see happiness which I believe comes from God. I choose to spend my time playing with language: editing, creating, digesting, and loving it. I've discovered a love for travelling and road trips. Autumn is the time of year when I feel a beautiful change in the environment and in myself. And I believe there's nothing you can do to lose God's love forever.

Why I am a Mormon

Conversion means a turning towards something. It is, in a religious sense as I've come to understand, a turning together with Jesus Christ so that the converted one walks with Him on the same path. I am a Mormon because I have walked in different directions, and the one direction that always seems to work out is the one that Christ is leading me on. I'm a Christian because I feel happy every day I commit myself to follow Jesus Christ and His teachings. I'm a Mormon because I know that the Book of Mormon is the work of prophets of ancient days, and it complements the Bible in its doctrine and teachings. I know that Heavenly Father lives, provides His children with a prophet in these days, and continues to reveal beautiful truths to His children. I also offer a firm testament of the effectiveness of coming to Christ through faith in Him and His Atonement, repentance (or change for the better), baptism (under God's true authority), and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost and enduring in Christ's gospel.

How I live my faith

I now dedicate every hour of my day to the Lord as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but more importantly I serve Jesus Christ as a called disciple set apart to share His love and teach his word. The most amazing thing I've discovered is just how little we need things and how much we need people and our Savior Jesus Christ. I feel blessed with the opportunity to spend this part of my life fully devoted to other people: learning to love them and help them receive the gospel of Jesus Christ which has again been restored to the earth!
