Hi I'm Adam

I work in Local Government, and am raising a family of six boys. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to Melanie and we have six boys - from a 22 year old down to a six year old. I love doing things with my family - such as holidays, especially abroad, trips to the seaside, and walking in the Dales. I still enjoy playing football - although trying to keep up with the younger players is becoming increasingly frustrating! I enjoy watching football also - although that is becoming less enjoyable as my teams are Liverpool FC and England!! On my commutes to work I like to read - classics and modern literature, quite a mix really.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a large, strong Mormon family, going on a mission to the North of England when I was 18. I have always felt strongly drawn to the church's teachings, and as I read about Jesus Christ and His life I feel a real power in the words written and the story told. I have had questions about various aspects of my faith throughout my life, but as I attempt to live it I feel and believe strongly that it is true. There is a power beyond my own that lifts me and brings peace to my life - this is real and makes my life better.

How I live my faith

As a member of my Ward I am currently a counsellor to a great Bishop, and enjoy getting involved in the organising of the ward. I have served previously in various callings, but my favourite has always been teaching the primary children.
