Hi I'm Tia Fudge

I am currently serving an LDS mission in the Korea Seoul Mission. I got my History Teaching Degree at BYU. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My father was in the United States Air Force, so I grew up in England, then Hawaii and when he retired we moved to Florida. In High School I was in Show Choir, along with chorus competitions (All-County, All-State and Solo and Ensemble). I performed in plays and musicals. Also, I was in Marching Bands Color Guard (tossing flags, rifles and sabres). When I graduated high school, I went to community college as a Music Major, then went to BYU and became a History Teaching Major. I graduated college in April 2012. I worked as a sub and a nursery assistant in multiple high schools, then finally got a short term contract as a U.S History teacher for 8th graders for two and a half months. I am currently serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. At the MTC then to South Korea.

Why I am a Mormon

As I have been born into a family that are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I have heard the gospel my whole life. I gained a testimony on my own though. I went through life in the Church just believing, but I got my own revelation that the Church was true after I read the Book of Mormon all the way through myself. I try to live the gospel, because I feel peace when I do. I pray because I know that my Heavenly Father does hear me and wants me to keep up communication with him. Also I feel stronger in my trials when I pray, read my scriptures and go to the temple. As I have learned more about events or people in history I have seen God's hand in everything, whether it was Church History, Revolutionary War or any European History for example. I have gained a stronger testimony of the gospel through learning more about the past through secular terms along with through spiritual terms. I know that through small and simple means, big things happen. Reading my scriptures, praying and going to Church regularly, along with other things, I am able to keep close to my Heavenly Father and my Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I grew up as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormon). Living in different countries and states I have been able to meet different types of cultures and people in and out of the Church. I have served many callings in Young Single Adult wards such as Music council, Service Council and Family Home Evening Council. Along with the different callings I helped the members of my ward as a babysitter. I have organized and helped organize activities for my past wards for the Young Single Adults in my ward or stake.
