Hi I'm Trevik

I'm a husband. Oldest of nine. I love sports and the outdoors. I'm a pre-med student. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I love being active. I grew up playing sports my whole life and I continue to play and coach now. My wife and I like to exercise together and have gotten into crossfit. We like it a lot! I am a student studying Exercise Physiology in preparation for medical school. I want to make a difference in people'e lives and I love learning about the body so medicine feels like a good fit! I love the outdoors! Shooting, hiking, camping, hunting, fishing etc. I love being out on the water fishing and just listening to the wildlife and the flow of water. It is really therapeutic for me. That's how I relax from the stresses of school. I have the most beautiful and supportive wife a man could ask for. We have lots of fun together!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this church is true! I really like the values and morals that come with being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We are taught to keep our bodies clean physically and spiritually, and to build up our families. In the past God always taught his gospel through men that he chose and gave authority to. We declare that He has done so today for all of us. It only makes sense that God would have a designated a man that He has given authority to to teach us truth. It really helps to clear up all the confusing doctrine that different churches teach. There are so many different opinions these days it makes religion confusing. It doesn't have to be. God set up a pattern for us to follow through His son while He was on the Earth. He called twelve men to be His Apostles and gave them authority to baptize and give the Gift of the Holy Ghost. He also gave them authority to preach in His name. Why would God change his pattern for us and leave us in the dark? Our declaration is that He hasn't! Our loving Heavenly Father has called a modern day prophet, and twelve apostles for us to follow!! I know this is true, because I have prayed asking God to let me know if this is true. I testify that this church is true, and that Jesus Christ is still at the head of this church. I have had the Spirit bear witness to me that these things are true.

How I live my faith

Right now my wife and I coach a club volleyball team for high school girls. We are encouraged within the church to become involved within our communities wherever we may be. We wanted to make a difference in the community even with our busy school schedules. It has been very rewarding and we have learned a lot. I have a unique job where I get to meet a lot of different people from many different backgrounds. I strive to set a good example and be respectable to everyone I meet. Even those that are not the kindest to me. Within the church I have had the responsibility to teach the four year old children in our congregation with my wife. It is fun to see how much they about Jesus Christ already, and how much they care about him at such a young age. I love serving others.
