Hi I'm Cambria

I am a lover of celebrations, family and friends. I am a missionary serving in Chile Concepcion South. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old and a student working on a major in Public Relations and Art History. I love planning events and having everyone gather around for a cause or celebration. I believe everything in life should be celebrated from the arrival of a new member of the family to a good grade on a test and International Talk Like a Pirate Day. Celebrating the big and little things help us realize what we are most grateful and happy for. There's no reason each and everyday can't be a day to gather friends and family to lift each other up and find joy in one another. I love the arts and though I have no artistic talent myself, learning about the artists and the stories behind paintings from the past has become a passion of mine. I love to travel and see the beauty that has enriched our world and understand the art from all corners of the earth. I find excitement in trying new things and learning how others view life. In my everyday life I am a lover of all things Harry Potter, supporter of chocolate covered strawberries and cinnamon bears and a believer that Disneyland is the happiest place on the earth.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know it brings me true happiness. I have been blessed to have the guidance of the Holy Ghost with me to direct me in the way that has led me to a successful and fulfilling life. The gospel has brought me closer to my family who I love with all my heart. I know that we are so close because we have built our foundation on Christ. I know that I am never alone and that with God all things are possible. I know that we are all children of God and that he is our Heavenly Father who loves and cares about us. Because of my knowledge of who I am and what I can become I have never lacked faith that everything will work out in a way that is best for us. I know that this gospel brings me joy and that by living the gospel standards I have been blessed. I am a Mormon because I know that it is the true gospel that will lead us back to the presence of our Heavenly Father. I am a Mormon because I have received more joy and happiness from this gospel than from anything else. I am a Mormon because everything in this gospel ties together with truthful knots working in perfect order to prove that this is Christ's church on the earth today.

How I live my faith

Growing up in the gospel, I have learned the importance of living your faith each and everyday. Ever since primary I have learned that I am a child of God and my testimony has grown through Young Women, Seminary, Relief Society and Institute. Everyday I work to search out those in need of service and strive to help others understand their influence and worth. After working as a Family History Committee member in my ward I have grown to love finding out about my genealogy. I am periodically signing into my family tree to double, triple and quadruple check that my family temple work is complete and to search out information that is not complete. I get giddy finding out where my ancestors came from, both their nationality and their stories from the past. I love learning what my ancestors have done to contribute to my life today and listening to my grandpa tell stories about them. I am serving a mission in the Chile Concepcion South Mission inviting others to come to come unto Christ and helping them receive the restored gospel. I love sharing with others what make me most happy.
