Hi I'm Erin

I was born and raised in Utah. Proud Aunt, college student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

As a college student, I spend my days gaining knowledge, thrifting in the retail world and making time for those that mean the most to me. I like to read books, mostly historical fiction. I love the great outdoors and have a slight obsession with flowers. I love to go on picnics, fly kites, ride bicycles, eat snow cones and watch sports. These days I enjoy carrying a Book of Mormon with me everywhere I go, and I love inviting other people to come to know how great it is! My hopes for the future are to, one day become a wife and mother, learn to fish, and be an influence for the good.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel of Jesus Christ has always been a factor in my life. Growing up, I leaned on the testimony of my family members and others around me. I decided to come to know these truths for myself. I sought my Heavenly Father and the confirming power of the Holy Ghost. I gained a testimony, not by an overpowering moment, but by living the commandments and teachings of the church. It was by the little things, such as: daily prayer, reading my scriptures, attending church, and examples of others around me that I came to recognize the happiness and comfort that comes from putting my Faith in Christ and striving to live according to God's will. I don't know that I fully grasped the goodness of the gospel until I began sharing with others the truths that I have received. I continue to follow His gospel because it makes me happy and the Spirit has testified to me of it's truthfulness. I'm a Mormon because every day I realize a little bit more of the love Heavenly Father has for us. I feel that love when I read the Book of Mormon, when I listen to living prophets and when I see an opportunity to serve or be served.

How I live my faith

live my faith by striving to do as Jesus Christ would do! This goes much smoother when I center everything around the Savior and His teachings. I live my faith by trying to apply what I read in the scriptures every day. I live my faith by attending my meetings and participating in ward activities. I strive to help others feel welcome and valued while attending church services, and in everyday happenings.
