Hi I'm Sam

I'm a student. I'm a volunteer. I believe in change. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a student earning a degree in Early Childhood/Special Education. I love getting involved in service and leadership opportunities. I was a volunteer English teacher in China and would love to go back. I enjoy watching and playing sports and love to be outdoors. I love to laugh and I believe a smile can change the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I know who I am. I know why I am here. I know where I am going. I know that I am loved and that I matter. I know that I have a purpose in life and that I am child of God. I know that every person on this earth is a child of God and that they matter. I have worked with the elderly, at risk youth, young children with special needs, children from other countries, and so much more. I feel an immense love for every one of them and I know that they are as important as any other person on this earth. My family brings me so much joy and I love the promise of knowing that we can be an eternal family. I love the comfort and happiness that the gospel brings to me and wish that I could share my happiness with everyone around me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through example. I try my best to serve and love those around. Every person has a story and deserves a chance. I belive in treating all people with respect. I try to share my values with those around me, but I don't push them on them. I try to live and follow my standards at all times and explain why I have these standards when I am asked.
