Hi I'm Jared McCain

I've lived all over Arizona. I am on my way to serve a Mission in Vanuatu. I am a man of music. I'm a Mormon and LOVE IT

About Me

I graduated high school a semester early and started working right away to save up for my mission. I've worked fast food, construction and retail and almost have all the money I'll need for my mission. I'm going to be serving in the country of Vanuatu at the capitol city of Port Vila. Before I moved up to Gilbert, I played the drums with an obscure band that wasn't going anywhere, but I had fun doing it. I love to play the drums and am very much into just music in general. I have recently found that I have a love for rock climbing and have been several times with a very dear friend. I can't wait to get on my mission, serve with all my heart and soul, and then get married and start raising a family when I get back.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the perfect vehicle for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And the Gospel of Jesus Christ has brought me more pure, abiding and lasting joy and happiness than anything else I have ever committed any of my time to. I know with every atom of my existence that The Gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth in its fulness as it was anciently when Christ Himself was upon the earth, and I know that it is true. Learning, knowing and living the True and Everlasting Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only way back to our Heavenly Father and the fulness of joy that will exist there.

How I live my faith

I love The Lord and am so very grateful to be a member of His restored church and to know His Gospel. I have a chance at least every Sunday to help teach the Gospel to those around me. I try to be a good example thoughout the week and on The Sabbath, I am priviledged to serve by teaching the Priest/Laurel Sunday School class. This calling is really helping me to get ready for my mission. At the beginning of this month, I observed my ten year anniversary of having been a baptized member of this church and I am so thankful each day for the testimony I have of this Gospel and the knowledge I have of the fulness of the restoration of the true Church of Jesus Christ on the Earth today, even as it was established by Him anciently.
