Hi I'm Krystal Hassard

I grew up in Utah. I helped build a daycare and a school, and care for children in Guatemala.

About Me

I am the oldest of 6 children, all of which are best friends! I grew up mainly in Syracuse and love to ride my uncle's horses out on Antelope Island. I am a ballroom dancer and I especially love country swing dancing with my friends in Logan! I also participate in Martial Arts and am a runner. My favorite race in high school was the mile! I also love sports especially soccer and volleyball. I was a student at Utah State University where I was studying Human Movement Science with an emphasis in exercise until I received my mission call on December 12th, at the age of 18, to Donetsk Ukraine! I am super excited to share what I love the most, the gospel, with the people of Ukraine!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I prayed and asked my Heavenly Father which church was true, just like Joseph Smith did. Throughout my life I have had many different experiences which have further strengthened my testimony of my savior so that I can stand, look people in the eye, and tell them that I Know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church on the earth today. I know that Heavenly Father loves each and every person on the earth individually and He knows exactly what you are going through and how to succor you. The Atonement is real, and is not only for forgiveness from our sins, but also so that we can be free from the pain that is caused us throughout life. I am a Mormon because I Know He loves you!

How I live my faith

I taught a class in my Young Single Adult ward in Logan called Gospel Doctrine. This class was all about the different aspects of the Gospel such as: You are a son/daughter of a loving Heavenly Father, Repentance, the Atonement, etc. I also coached my ward's basketball team for young women ages 12-18 and was able to help them all come to know their worth!
