Hi I'm Julie

I am a small town country girl, I am spontaneous and vivacious, I love art and design and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently attending Brigham Young University-Idaho. I am a senior with only a couple of semesters left. I am studying Communications and Advertising. I am love the outdoors, water skiing, snowboarding, rafting, hiking, and camping. I grew up in a small town, in the forest, in one of the most beautiful places in the United States. I love art it is a way for me to be distracted from the hard things in life. I believe my art was an inheritances from my Heavenly Father. I have been blessed with the ability to see the beautiful world and translate what I am seeing through my art. This has help me see all the amazing and beautiful things around me. I love my family they are my rock and I have been so blessed to have them. I love to dance, it is my way of relieving stress. My parents have instilled in me a strong work ethics and helped me understand to value of working hard. I love my Father in Heaven and I love my Savior.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in Eternal Families. I was once dating a young man who did not believe in eternal families and I was considering marring him. I though that love was only something I needed to worry about now. I never thought about how my actions would effect my children. My dad sat me down one day when we were boat camping and told me he was concerned about how serious I was with this young man. He wanted me to have the blessings of an eternal family, he wanted me and my children to have the blessings of a temple marriage. At that moment my testimony grew. I realized if I did not get married in the temple I would be risking not have the blessings of an eternal family and I did not want to give that up. Through this realization I built a relationship with my Heavenly Father, I realized how much my faith has blessed me. I also built a relationship with my Savior. What a wonderful gift the atonement is and the fact that I can be forgiving for my sins. The Mormon church is teaches us about love and that I one thing I have always felt; love from my family and love from my Savior. I am a Mormon, because I believe there is good in the world. One thing that I have noticed from growing up in the church that there is a lot of focus through the media and other avenues on the negative things of the world. Going to church and other activities I always leave feeling uplifted and that there are so many wonderful blessings around me. Being a Mormon helps me recognize that there is so many positive things around me. I have watched the church serve and make the world a better place. I am a Mormon because I believe there is good in the world. I am a Mormon because I want to be a better person. Growing up in the church I have always believed that I can always improve and be a better person. It's because of this belief that I'm the person I am today. I believe that my faith has made me strong, a hard worker, and helped me become a better person.

How I live my faith

I love how my faith believes in service. I have a strong testimony that serving others brings joy into my life and makes me happy. I have grown up learning about importance of helping others. I have always been blessed to have a family who loves to serve other. Through service I have seen others lives changed, but not just others lives my own life. This blessing in my life has helped me let go of the negatives things in my life and helped me focus on positive things. My way to show my Heavenly Father how grateful I am for everything he has given me is to serve others.
