Hi I'm Kayla

I live in Tooele, Utah. I love to eat Hawaiian Pizza and cookies. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a high school student. I am the oldest of four children, and hope to have a large family someday. I love to read novels, write stories, camp and hike. There is no better vacation to me than when I go "rough it" with my family for a week in the summer. I am on the ballroom dance team in high school, and I love to compete.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was eight years old, I was baptized into the church. At that age, I don't think that I had a strong testimony. However, as I grew older and started taking Seminary, I started to gain a testimony. Now that I have prayed and fasted about it, I know that my Heavenly Father and His son, Jesus Christ, love me infinitly. They care about me, and worry about me. I know that Christ sacrificed Himself for the remission of our sins. I know that Joseph Smith restored the gospel, and the our Prophet today is our true prophet. I know that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. My testimony means so much to me, because I believe all this.

How I live my faith

I live in a large ward with many youth. I am in a leadership position for my age group. At school, I participate in a class called Seminary. In Seminary, they teach you about Jesus Christ and the things he did for us. I share the gospel with other friends when I get the opportunity. I read my scriptures and say my prayers daily, as well as fast when I need to.
