Hi I'm Tyler Walter

I am from Salt Lake City. I love my family. I run. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a senior in high school. I am about to graduate and have already recieved my call to serve a mission. I love to run. I recently completed my first half-marathon. I also love music and enjoy playing the piano and my trumpet even though I am not particularly good at either of them. My family is really big and I love them a lot! They are all great examples to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am very fortunate to be born into this great church. I have been an active member my entire life. As I have grown up and started to see the beliefs of my peers, I began studying my church more in depth. I read the Book of Mormon and prayed to God to ask Him if the book were true. The spirit truly testified to me that this book was true. It has been through that experience and many other small and simple spiritual moments that I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. I know that Joseph Smith truly saw God the Father and His son, Jesus Christ. Joseph Smith restored the gospel to this earth. Today our church is led by Thomas S. Monson who truly receives revelation for the entire church. I know this church is true and I wouldn't want my life any other way!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by studying my scriptures everyday and attending church every Sunday. Currently, I meet every Sunday with a group of youth who are my same age and we have the oppurtunity to learn more about the gospel. Every Wednesday night I also get to participate in activities with the same youth group and strengthen my testimony of the gospel and help our group of youth grow closer to each other.
