Hi I'm Branndin Long

I'm from Aurora Colorado, I'm a car audio enthusiast, I love Mountain Dew and Cheescake, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play video games! Video games have a huge role in why I am such great friends with the friends I have now. We always played together and kept each other out of trouble. I love to play sports. Baseball, Football, Disk, Soccer, Golf...I love it all! I also love to deal with car audio systems. I love hooking up subwoofers and stereo decks. It's an ovewhelming feeling when you hook up a sound system and it just starts bumpin. That never ceases to put a smile on my face.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a Mormon. It has always been my way of life. Usually when a person is born and raised in a church it is the usual routine for them because of their parents. When an individual reaches their teen years, they begin to make their own choices. For me, it was age 14. When I was 14 i stopped caring about my normal routine. It was boring for me. So I stopped going and started hanging with the wrong crowd. When i turned 18, i realized that i wasn't going anywhere with my life. I almost threw away a high school diploma because of laziness, I wasn't making the greatest decisions, and I wasn't as close to my Father in Heaven as I should have been. So I turned to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. The same church I grew up in and had my normal routine in. As I attended more I was making better decisions. I had people caring for me and helping me. I had a loving bishop to guide me through the repentance process and help me get back on my feet. I was quickly feeling my Saviors love for me, and realizing how important I am to him. I'm a Mormon because I choose to be. I'm a Mormon because living the gospel of Jesus Christ never ceases to bless me. Living the gospel has kept me from harm both spiritually and physically. This church is absolutely magnificent and I love it with every fiber of my being. I choose to be Mormon and I will never regret that choice.

How I live my faith

I love how wonderful this church is. I have seen it bless others in a way that I cannot even explain. The joy and happiness that comes from living this gospel is extraordinary. Participating in service work helps me draw closer to my father in heaven. Doing service is a great thing, but doing service with love for the people you are serving makes it even more special. The work isn't work anymore. The work becomes a joy and a passion for helping others. I am a young adult. I'm silly, I'm obnoxious, and I'm loud. But at the same time, I have an infinite love for this gospel. It has and will continue to change my life.
