Hi I'm Dana Smith

I'm from Thousand Oaks, California. I will graduate from BYU-Idaho in July in Communication. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from Thousand Oaks, California, and have been married for just over a year. I'm a dance teacher and a waitress while going to school full time. I'm studying Communication and minoring in Dance. I graduate in July, and my husband will starting Podiatry school in Arizona in July.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon has given me so much joy and happiness. I know who I am, and what my purpose in life is. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me, and wants me to be happy. He helps me through my trials and weaknesses, and makes me stronger everyday. I know that I can live with my family forever, because I was sealed to them in the Lord's house, the temple. Living the gospel of Jesus Christ means being the best disciple and follower of Him as I can be.

How I live my faith

In my ward, I was called to be a teacher. Every 4th Sunday of the month, I read a talk given by a Church General Authority, and lead a discussion between all of the women in my ward. I love that we as women, we have such a strong connection to each other. We spend time each month visiting each other at home and helping one another with our individual needs.
