Hi I'm Tucker Buehner

I am from Utah and am now serving a full time mission in Peru, Trujillo. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live with my family and I am finishing up my freshman year of college. I graduated from high school in 2012. In high school, I liked to play many sports, and still do today. I played on my high school lacrosse team all four years. In my house I live with a large family. There are 6 boys and 2 girls currently living at home. One more brother is married and moved out, and just had his first baby girl, making me an uncle for the first time. I also have a step-brother who is serving a mission right now.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because the truth that I am tought has brought a great amount of joy to my family and me. I go to church every week simply because it makes me happy. I know that the things I have been taught are true. I believe that we have a prophet here on earth today to guide and direct us. This church has changed my life for the better as I grow older and learn more, and I feel blessed for knowing what I have been taught. It is hard to imagine living another way. Living the standards of the church has helped my life so much. I have a strong testimony in Joseph Smith. I know that he sacrificed everything to bring this church back to earth. I know and understand the role that Jesus Christ plays in the plan. I have a great amount of love for him. He also suffered so that we may return to live with our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I have a calling to serve with the 14 to 15 year old boys in my ward. Part of these duties are giving lessons at church, participating in weekly activities, and helping them grow in the gospel of Jesus Christ. I enjoy this calling very much and it has helped me grow as well. I also serve as a home teacher with my next door neighbor. We go out to our assigned familes to help, teach and serve them.
