Hi I'm Bryana M. Lesuma

I was born in Hawaii, and grew up in Utah. My family means everything to me. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Growing up my parents instilled in me a great love for service and showing love towards the brothers and sisters I see and meet everyday. I am not a perfect human being. This life has showed me that. But this Gospel; it keeps me anchored among in the storms of adversity. And when I abide by the teachings of God's living prophets and those of old, I in turn, become an anchor for others. My name is Bryana and I am a child of God.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints? A big reason is because of my amazing parents who raised me in the church and were-and still are- amazing examples of what a Mormon should be. As a young woman I have seen the Gospel of this church work in my life and in the lives of others. During times in my life, when it seemed that no one was listening or even cared, when I would kneel down to pray or read The Book of Mormon and attend church regulary, I would recieve feelings of comfort and peace. I know that it is my Savior reminding me that he is always with me and that when I am doing the things that I need to be doing and things that invite the spirit, then I will see the light of Christ work in my life and recieve the blessings that I have been promised. I am a Mormon because I KNOW that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God, and that he restored Jesus Christs church here on the earth today. And that we have a living prophet of God here today, and his name is Thomas S. Monson. I am a Mormon because I have felt the confirming feeling that THIS church is the only church whose doctrines and teachings and the Atonement of Jesus Christ are the only way that we, as repentant sinners, can return to our Father in Heaven once again. I continue to follow His gospel, not because it is easy (because it's not) but because it is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by just trying to live every day the way Heavenly Father would ask of me to. Every day is another day to become like Him.

Are Mormons Christians?

Bryana M. Lesuma
Mormons are Christians. We believe in the teachings of Jesus Christ and follow in his commandments. We believe he is our Savior and that because of Him and his atoning sacrifice, we have the opportunity to return to our Father in Heaven and his son Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
