Hi I'm Amy

I am a wife. I am a mother. I am a Nurse. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of 5 and have four younger brothers. I grew up in the church and am still close to my family. I love to sew, sing, read, and travel, and be outside. I married my best friend and we have been married for 20 years. We have three children, two who are adpoted. My husband and I love to see new things and experience new adventures. I am also a nurse and love to work with people and help others. I have recently run a few triathlons with friends and love to feel the strength that comes with finishing something hard.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have always been a mormon. I continue to be steadfast in my faith for a few key reasons. It brings me joy to know that my Heavenly Father has a plan for me in this life. It gives me guidance on the choices I make on a daily basis and confirms to me that this life is not all, there is a life after we die. The gospel helps me through trials and gives me strength to stay away from the worldly snares that would bring me away from my family and my health and my God. I am happy that I have the knowledge of Jesus Christ in my life. I am blesses to know what I know.

How I live my faith

At church I work with the children who are 3-11 years of age. With other leaders, we spend time teaching them, singing with them and sharing our love of the gosple of Jesus Christ and of the Savior. It continues to amaze me how smart these children are and how much they know about where the came from, why they are here on the earth and what they need to do to get back to their Heavenly Father. They are truly blessings to us and sometimes they teach me more than I teach them. I love to interact with them and feel their sweet spirits and feel their love. They are trusting and open to being taught.
