Hi I'm Mack Kerr

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an Idaho girl and I love to do anything in the outdoors. I am a student at BYU-Idaho and I work as a Swim Instructor in the summers. I enjoy anything that has to do with water and fun or spending time with friends and family. I am currently called as a Spanish Speaking Missionary in the Arizona, Tucson Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I know, without a question, that my life would have little meaning without the gospel. The gospel has always been a presence in my life--whether that presence was weak or strong--it was always there and it has always given me a purpose. Even in my darkest times I always strived for happiness and I was always well aware that the happiness that I desired could only be attained through the Lord Jesus Christ. I am a mormon because I love my Heavenly Father and I have a sure-fire testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that the book of mormon is the word of God and that it has a great purpose in guiding us in these later days. I have a testimony of the restoration of the book of mormon and the Prophet Joseph Smith. I have a testimony of my Savior Jesus Christ and his unconditional love for me and the power of his infinite atonement. I have seen its power in my life and I am so grateful for the opportunity to have the guilt and weight of sin lifted from me. I am so grateful for my Father in Heaven and I know that he has a purpose for me on this earth and I know that he knows me personally and loves me unconditionally as his daughter.

How I live my faith

I live my faith, every day, striving to do what is right and to be an example of Christ. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ is not an easy task. We must refrain from many aspects of the world that are often generally acceptable to most people such as drinking coffee, but it is not just swearing off coffee that will bring us back to our Father in Heaven. As members of the church we must continually work and strive to gain knowledge, understanding, love, kindness, experience, etc. while we are on this earth. It is through our every day struggles and our relationship with the Savior that we can live our faith, because it is truly our faith that gives us life.
