Hi I'm Dan

I'm a musician. I love languages and traveling to see other cultures. I love to serve. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My greatest passion is music. For as long as I can remember music has been dear to my heart. I have always loved to sing and began playing the guitar when I was eight, I also play to varying degrees piano, bass, violin and drums. To me music is a magnificent and universal form of communication that has a unique and special ability to touch people. One of my greatest sources of joy is to be able to be a vehicle for music to touch and uplift others.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is Christ's restored and true church on the earth today. I know this because I have studied, pondered and prayed about the gospel and received a spiritual witness of the truthfulness of the restoration of the gospel today. I have not received my testimony due to any merit of my own but through personal revelation. Anyone who is a sincere seeker of truth and light who studies the gospel with a sincere heart and prays to Heavenly Father to know whether the message of the church is true will also receive a spiritual witness. There is so much I do not know, but I do know that all people are spiritual children of a loving Heavenly Father, that Jesus Christ is the only begotten son of our Heavenly Father and the Savior of the world who has payed the price for everyone's sins and shortcomings, that Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God, that the Book of Mormon is true and will enrich the life of anyone who lives by its teachings, that President Thomas S. Monson is a Prophet living on the earth today, and that anyone can come to know these things through prayer and personal revelation. I know the happiness that being a Mormon has brought me, and I would invite all people to come unto Jesus Christ and hear the restored message of His gospel.

How I live my faith

Every day, I do my best to live the principles of the gospel so that I am able to be in tune with the spirit. I find that I am guided as I do so, and I also receive great peace and comfort. Living the principles of the gospel brings me the greatest happiness I have ever known.
