Hi I'm Taelor

I am a student, an artist, and stage actor. I love watching old films and spending time with my family. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am passionate about art: all kinds of art! I love to paint and draw and sculpt. I love photography and graphic design. I have a knack for being creative and making things beautiful. My dream is to travel the world and one day be an accomplished artist. I also enjoy acting on stage, and am actually a part of the International Thespian Society. I would love to one day be a part of a Broadway production and my absolute dream job (apart from selling my art) would be to work for Disney as either a cartoonist or an actual cast member at Disneyland! I enjoy nature hikes, rock climbing (indoor), ice skating, and playing practical jokes on my friends. I love life! I am constantly looking for ways to go the extra mile and improve myself and be the best that I can be. I am a go-getter; I am ambitious. I work hard for what I want and what I believe in because it makes me feel good to accomplish goals and dreams. I love my big family and I love this gospel because through it I have come to know that I can be with my family forever.

Why I am a Mormon

I was fortunate enough to be born into the Gospel of Jesus Christ. My parents are both faithful members as their parents were, so I grew up with the teachings of the church in my life. Many people have asked me if I am still a member only because it is expected of me, or because I don't know any better, or because I am afraid of what my family might think if I were to leave the church. The simple truth of it is, I honestly believe that this gospel is true. Nobody ever told me I had to believe anything. I was invited to believe and I accepted that invitation wholeheartedly. I pondered and searched for answers (and still do) because I have a desire to know for myself what is true. And I have felt in my heart that what I have learned from the teachings of the Book of Mormon and from Latter-day prophets is true. I know that Christ is the living son of God; that he suffered and died for my sins. I know that he and my Heavenly Father love me so, so much. I know that they provided a way for me to be eternally happy. And I know that if I try my best every day to be better than the girl I was yesterday, that the Lord will bless me and will give me the strength I need to carry on in this tiresome and difficult life. I have a firm testimony of Prayer; I know that God listens, and that he so dearly wants his children to know of his love, and to know that he cares, and that he has a plan for us. I'm a Mormon because I find joy in this gospel, and I know that it is true.

How I live my faith

I was recently called to be a Ward Missionary and was assigned to work with the youth in the church and help them to keep track of their personal mission plans. My goal is to help all the youth to establish their own specific goals that will allow them to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with their family and friends, and to fellowship other members of the ward. I was also recently called to be a full-time missionary. I will soon leave my hometown and serve the people of the Atlanta Georgia area. This is a huge sacrifice for my family and I. But I couldn't be more thrilled and excited to serve the people of Georgia in whatever ways they need to be served. I only wish to be the Lord's hands in furthering his work. Missionary work is so incredibly important to me because I honestly believe that this gospel is true. It makes me happy; and why not share my happiness with the world? I strive to go the extra mile in everything I do because I sincerely believe that every person on this earth has a contribution to be made for the betterment of humanity. As a member of the church I try my best to live up to the name of Jesus Christ. I attend my church meetings and fulfill my duties. But, more importantly, I strive to LIVE the gospel every moment of every day. I am far from perfect, but I feel SO good when I just TRY to be better than the person I was yesterday.
