Hi I'm Hanna

I grew up in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I am a life learner, a future nurse, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just started the nursing program for my undergraduate and I am loving it. I hope to be a pediatric or cancer nurse. I started running a few years ago and I can't stop. I ran my first half marathon last summer. It was a lot of fun, but school has kept me busy since then so I am now trying to work back up to another half marathon. Um... I say um a lot. Something unique about me... I can't make a grilled cheese without burning it. I don't know why. I try so hard but they always turn out charred black. I am actually really shy and sometimes that makes life a struggle, but life is beautiful so it is worth the struggle. It can be hard to get to know me but once you get to know me I am kind of a huge dork.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church my whole life but I have stayed in the church because I have learned for my self that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true. Nothing is better then the peace and the joy that this gospel brings to my life. Life can be hard, but life is beautiful and worth living. This live is meant for us to learn, to grow and to prepare ourselves to return to our Heavenly Father. Even during the struggles life brings I feel great peace and joy and I know it comes from living the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that I am a child of God with great divine potential. I know that life doesn't end here but continues on. I know and love that I can be with my family forever. I know that the Book of Mormon and the Bible contain the word of God. I know that I can pray and receive and answer to that prayer. I know that Christ's church has been restored to the earth and is lead by his chosen prophets. I know that Heavenly Father loves all his children, more then we can comprehend, and I want to help others feel of that love.

How I live my faith

I am trying to become to become the person my Heavenly Father knows I have the potential to be by following Jesus Christ's example. I am far from perfect, with many weaknesses, but I feel that I live my faith by not letting my weaknesses control who I am and what I do. Some days I am better at this then others. But I know as I continue to move forward and accept Christ's atonement in my life I will continue to learn, to grow, and to be the person I want to be and the person Heavenly Father knows I can become. I try to live my life serving others, whether that is through my job, my calling, or just daily life. I try to approach people with love so that they can feel the love Christ and Heavenly Father has for each of them.
