Hi I'm Jonathan Dean

I was born and raised in Clearfield, Utah, I am the youngest of six siblings, I love music and photography, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Clearfield, Utah. I am the youngest of six siblings. I love music and photography. I graduated from High School in 2012. I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and I am serving a full-time two year mission preaching the gospel in the England London South Mission. I also enjoy playing tennis and basketball. I love taking pictures of nature, snow, and water. My favorite time of the year to take photographs is in the fall and winter when all the leaves are changing colors and falling on the ground, As well as when it is snowing on pine trees. I love taking pictures of the Temples of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, because they are beautiful buildings and I love what they stand for. I love also thinking of Architecture. I love looking at buildings and seeing their structure and the art that came from blueprints, time, and hardwork. It often reminds me of what our Father in Heaven has done to create everything for us, by giving us a plan that we can follow and acheive eternal happiness. As for music. I love music that is uplifting. Listening to music is a way for me to meditate, When I listen to music that invites the Spirit, I feel a greater peace of mind. When I feel that greater peace, I feel closer to my Father in Heaven.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and I have been a member since I was eight years old. That does not guarantee, however, that I knew this Church was true. The reason why I know it's true is because I decided to find out for myself if it was true not just to take my parent's word for it. The best way I came to find out it is true is to actually have read the Book of Mormon with a sincere heart with also the commitment to follow whatever answer I got when I knelt down to ask my Father in Heaven if what I read is true. My answer is; I know the Book of Mormon to be the word of God. It testifies of Jesus Christ, who is the foundation of my eternal testimony. I will never deny the divinity of the Book of Mormon in this life or in the life to come. But I will invite everyone, who will hear me out, to read the Book of Mormon, and not to take my word for it, but to find out for themselves if it is true. I know that those who pray with a sincere heart will receive an answer to that prayer.

How I live my faith

I am currently in the U.K. Serving a full-time mission in the England London South Mission. I invite others to read the Book of Mormon and pray to know if what they read is true. Because I have read and prayed about the Book of Mormon is why I have decided to serve a mission. I have found happiness in my life and I invite others to read for themselves so they can have that same happiness.
