Hi I'm Emilee

Hi my Name Is Emilee, I grew up on the outskirts of Detroit MI. I love to do anything creative and I am a Mormon.

About Me

When I was in second grade I was diagnosed as severely dyslexic. Reading, writing and math have always been a struggle for me. Though hard work and a great support system I have been able to find success in my life and at school. I am currently just finished my sophomore year at BYU where I am studying geography. I love to swim, do anything creative, watch movies, spent time with friends and family, and travel. I come from a family for four. I have an older brother who is a senior in college a twin sister who will also be a junior in college and a younger brother who is a freshman in high school.

Why I am a Mormon

Though I was raised in the church my whole life it is my choice to live the way I do. I am a Mormon because I know that this Gospel is true. I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon and that it is the Word of God. By living the standards of the Church I feel closer to my Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ. This gospel sets me free from sin and from the sorrows of this world. Because I am a Mormon I know that I am a daughter of a loving Heavenly Father who knows my name and all my wants and needs.

How I live my faith

I love the Lord with all my heart. I know that he came to this earth to die for my sins. As I follow his teachings and commandments I know that we can become closer to him and his spirit. When I was baptized at the age of eight I promised to take his name upon me. Every day I try my best to live the way Heavenly father and Jesus Christ would live.
