Hi I'm Anya

I grew up in the United States, in the state of Georgia. I am on my Mission in Salt Lake City South. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student. I have done about 8 years of Swim Team, I enjoy editing video footage and photography. I can play both the Clarinet and the Piano, but I am more of a novice with the piano. I love music with a passion. I love History and how it is this great mystery that needs solving. I enjoy doing geneology with my family and finding family members that I have never known about before. I love to learn more about my ancesters and what they were like and their hobbies. I have ADD, which can make concentrating a bit difficult at times, but I don't let that hinder me. ADD just has a way of making life more interesting. I am also shy, the kind of shy that can make starting a simple conversation difficult. Though, I do not allows this to stop me from doing the things that I need to.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I love this Gospel and its teachings of our Heavely Father and Jesus Christ. I love the feelings of happiness I recieve when the Holy Ghost testifies to me. I know that this Church is true and I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus love every one of us and wants us to be our absolute best and wants everyone of us to be happy. I know that we are given test and trials to help us learn from them and become stronger and better because of it. There is so much hope and love involved with this Gospel and my heart is full of joy when I stop and think about this Gospel and how it is most definatly Jesus Christ's restored church. I love this church and the happiness, love and hope that comes with it.

How I live my faith

I attend chruch every Sunday as well as all of my meetings for church. I take a little notebook with me so I can jot down thoughts and comments from these meetings so I can concentrate and feel the spirit stronger. I study the scriptures and say my prayers.
