Hi I'm Hailey

I grew up in Utah. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Hailey. I have been involved in sports my entire life, and love staying active. I love being outside, finding new adventures and things to try. I have been attending school for the past two years, and am now preparing to leave and serve the Lord in the Philippines.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the LDS religion, into a strong family. My true conversion to the church however didn't happen until my sophomore year of college. It came to the point where I had to pick a road, I couldn't be a fence sitter anymore. I decided to put more effort and work into the gospel, and I started seeing Heavenly Father's hand more and more in my life. It made me realize that there truly is a God and he indeed does know and love us each individually. I've found that only through the gospel, living and abiding by its doctrines, is where we find true happiness. I still have daily challenges and temptations that are always there, trying to knock me off the path, but I know that even if I don't succeed every day, that through my Savior, Jesus Christ, I am able to be forgiven and change my ways through His infinite atonement. I love this church with my whole heart, and even though it's not always easy and things don't go our way, but more blessings than we could even imagine will come if we follow and work in faith and trust.

How I live my faith

I have had many callings throughout my short life, starting in young womens. Most of my callings have been working with the children in the ward. I absolutely love kids and how much we can learn from their innocence and character. One thing I have come to realize is the importance of everyday missionaries, those that are able to hear and follow through on promptings and feelings that they have. Being able to be an instrument in the Lord's hands is rewarding and a testament of his knowledge of each one of us.
