Hi I'm Heidi Morton

I grew up in Utah, I have a brother on a Mission. I am a Mother of 4. Married for 11 years. I am Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of 4, I have 2 boys and 2 girls. I enjoy horse back riding and cooking. I grew up in the lds church. my parents were inactive for years so they wouldn't let me get baptized until I was 17 years old. Now I have a brother on a mission. :) I got sealed in the temple to my husband last year for our tenth anniversary. It was the happiest day of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being Mormon, that all i ever wanted as a child. I love the community how everyone just helps each other no questions asked. I love feeling the spirit when I go church and feel my saviors love for me. I enjoy reading the book of Mormon to my kids, its a very exciting story to learn the history of the america's is amazing.

How I live my faith

I really believe in Visiting teaching I think it very important to help look out for the sisters in the ward. I help out in scouts and I also take care on the babies in the nursery so that their parents can go to their church meetings. I really enjoy teaching the little ones about Jesus Christ.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Heidi Morton
No. We love to help anyone around us. 2 years ago my neighborhood had flooding really bad. People's basements were filling up with water. A bunch of us went door to door helping people clean up all the water. Most of the people in my neighborhood aren't Mormon. But that didn't matter to us. We are taught from a young age to serve other people like Jesus served us. To me, service is the best feeling in the world. I feel like, I really make a difference when I do it. I think it's easy to get caught up in your own life and problems, but when you go out and do something for someone else and think about someone else, it takes your mind off of what is going on in your own life.
