Hi I'm Luke

I'm a Mormon serving in the United States Air Force.

About Me

I am a father of five beautiful children. I have been faithfully married to the love of my life for 10 awesome years. I served the Lord for two years in the Belgium, Brussels Mission. I currently work for a counseling agency as a Crisis Staff member, I also serve in the United States Air Force as a Chaplain Assistant.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up on a dairy farm and in the Mormon faith my parents taught me all that they could. I wasn't really the rebellious type and I did my best to avoid things/substances that would cloud my judgment. However, as it is with all young men that come of age and begin to think for themselves, I wanted to know as my parents knew that the Church we belonged to was in fact, the true church of Jesus Christ. Its not that I doubted what I had been taught, I just wanted my own confirmation. Then, in simple prayer, I asked for a confirmation and I felt in my heart what I had felt so many times growing up, but never so strong and direct as was this response to my petition. I knew as I still know and as I will always know that this church is true, and that by living a life parallel to what is taught in this church I will be following Jesus Christ, and will one day return to live with Him, Heavenly Father, and my family forever.

How I live my faith

Aside from doing my best to be a strong leader and example in my home, I try my best to do whatever I am asked to within our ward. I currently serve as a Second Counselor in one of the quorums of my ward. I believe the best way to show my faith is by the example I set for those in my family and my community.
