Hi I'm Kellee

I love to dance, play piano and sew, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love to dance! I grew up with ballet and loved every minute of it. I danced through high school and considered it as a major but I have always loved crafting and making things and I love to sew! I continued to take dance classes throughout college, but I wasn't on a team anymore. If I wasn't dancing, I was sewing. I love sewing and I love to teach and I plan on becoming a Home Ec. teacher. After 2 years of college I put school on hold to serve a mission. That has been the best decision ever!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the peace that the gospel of Jesus Christ has brought to me and my family. I know that God loves me and has a plan for me. I know he hears and answers my prayers. My life has been truly guided and blessed. I've seen Gods hand in my life daily. He has blessed me with so many opportunities and I know that I can bless others through my efforts.

How I live my faith

Right now I am serving a mission. I have the opportunity to teach people daily how to come closer to our Savior Jesus Christ.

Why was a Restoration of the Gospel needed? Haven’t we always had the Bible?

When God calls prophets he gives them the authority to receive revelation from Him. This revelation is for all of us and it keeps the Doctrine pure. Without this divine revelation, the doctrine is corrupted by mans desires and beliefs. When Christ was on the earth he established His Church and until the Apostles were all killed the authority that they had(the priesthood) was still on the earth. People rejected the teachings and the doctrine did become corrupted. People tried to have the same organization as Christ had but without that authority, they could not. We needed the restoration in order to have that same organization as existed at the time of Christ. Show more Show less
