Hi I'm Huy

I grew up in Vietnam. I code, I kick, I dance. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a student at Brigham Young University. I'm working toward becoming a software engineer. I have always been a sport fan. I watch and play soccer, basketball, badminton,...I love Duke, the Lakers, and Real Madrid. While being at college, my passion for ballroom dancing has grown. I've been taking ballroom classes every semester for more than a year. Right now, I am a missionary in the California Los Angeles Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as an agnostic. I was introduced to Christianity when I was high school. It took me a long time to see the love that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ has for me. Several year later I met the missionaries. I was open to listen more about what they have to say. First, I learned about the plan of salvation and the value of the church. I really liked the way the church values family and others. I came to know about the Book of Mormon through the missionaries. I then took the advice of the missionaries and got down on my knee to pray to learn the truth about the Book of Mormon. One day, I received that witness. Everything just started clicking in my head. What I knew and what I learned began making sense. I realize that this is what my Heavenly Father has planned for me :)

How I live my faith

I try to apply Christ's teaching into my everyday activities. Helping others when they are in need. I understand the important of reaching out to people, just a smile or one "hello" can mean a world to someone. When there is hard decision or when i'm having a tough time, I always turn to Heavenly Father for guidance. He knows all things and can give me his spirit to lead me onto the straight path. I also encourage others to follow Christ's example through home teaching and daily interaction.
