Hi I'm Thomas Knapp

I'm from San Diego, I have a passion for basketball, I'm a missionary serving in Samoa and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Thomas Knapp, I am 18 years old and I will be serving in the Samoa Apia mission! I love basketball and I played it throughout my high school years . I also love to play the ukulele and guitar, my biggest inspirations and motivations are my two younger brothers.. After I return from my mission I will be attending BYU.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ because I firmly believe that the gospel brings me uncountable blessings that i would otherwise be unable to receive without the blessings of my Heavenly Father. It brings me and my family closer and creates a positive atmosphere in our house. I am very grateful for the Church and all it has brought into my life. I am Mormon because the gospel brings to me the knowledge that families can be together forever and that brings me overwhelming happiness that i will one day be able to live with my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ with my family who I love so dearly. The gospel comforts me so much because it teaches me and I will make mistakes in my life but that through the atonement of Christ I can be forgiven and live with him again.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by choosing to go on a mission because for me it was very difficult to give up playing basketball and everything else I was doing in my life to serve in a foreign place but I have faith that if I put the lord first and serve him then he will bless me and those who I love.
