Hi I'm Cody

I was born in Utah but grew up in Colorado, I'm a student, I love the outdoor, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of two, I come from a very small town in Colorado but with many adventures and history in my town. I was able to serve a mission and to share the gospel in Ecuador, I have seen many people change their hearts as I have shared them about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm a student just doing general major right now, also I love to go to the mountains hiking, hunting, fishing, and camping.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the LDS Church all my life but from the experience that I have had, my prayers being answered, the Book of Mormon, the Holy Bible, prophets, and from the Holy Ghost I know that the Church is true. I have looked for answers for so many questions that I have had wondering what to do, why do these things happen, what do I need to do, and many more. God loves us, He knows what we are going through, and He knows what is best for all of us. The gospel has blessed my life for many reasons, I have a family who loves me and accepts me for who I am, I understand what my purpose is in life, but most importantly through the gospel I can have eternal happiness. Through Jesus Christ and His Atonement we can recieve the remission of sins and enter into the Kingdom of God, Jesus died and payed for our sins because He loved us and He still loves us. I know that these things are true, I am grateful for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I attend to church with other members who have the same age or are around my age; a singles ward. At church we have three different classes each for an hour and one of those classes I have a responsbility to teach the class about the teachings of Jesus Christ. I also have served a mission in Ecuador or have had the opportunity to teach the gospel with the people in Ecuador, it was the best experience I have had in my life and I will never forget that. Before going to Ecuador I never did learn spanish and it took alot of pratice and a lot of faith in God to obtain the spanish language, but with patience and faith in Jesus Christ I was able to speak the language and share the gospel. I knew that God was there with me and helping me to share the gospel in the Spanish language, that is something I will cherish all my life. God has helped me in my life and it has been difficult, there has been times in my life that I thought I was nothing, but with God's plan I was able to move on. I had seen how he had blessed me, how important I was to Him like everyone else, and to feel his love. He loves me like He loves everyone else, we are His children.
