Hi I'm Beth

I'm the youngest of four. I love theatre. I am married to the best guy in the world, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

When I was very young my older sister was my idol. She went to ballet classes and so I would put on tutus and tights and her giant ballet slippers and dance around the house. When I finally turned three I was allowed to take ballet classes too. I've never stopped dancing since. I moved over to musical theatre in middle and high school and I learned to love theatre for the change it made in my life and the lives of so many others. I am currently in college studying to be a middle/high school theatre teacher and I honestly think I have the best major ever! I got married in 2013 and I love married life, especially with the knowledge that I can be with my husband forever, beyond death.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have felt the Holy Spirit testify strongly to me of the truth of this Church. Both of my parents are also Mormons and so all growing up I went to church because they did and because they wanted me to, but when I was fourteen I realized that I needed to know for myself if it was true. I prayed fervently and read the Bible and the Book of Mormon for inspiration and received a confirmation that this church is true and good and will bring me closer to God. I know that the principles taught and the ordinances performed in this church are true and necessary. I am a Mormon because without this church I would be miserable. I have been taught the Plan of Salvation which tells me where I came from, why I'm here, and where I'm going and this plan brings me much peace and comfort when I am discouraged and especially when I lose a loved one. I am a Mormon because we have a living prophet on Earth today. He speaks to God and he speaks to us.

How I live my faith

I am not perfect by any means at living my faith. I just try to be better and follow the perfect example Christ gave to us each day and pick back up when I fail. I love the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and find great hope and peace in the church's teachings.
