We are happy to answer any questions you may have.

Hi I'm Hannah Christensen

I love speaking Spanish, I am a national impromptu speaking competitor, I raise cattle, I study plants and soil and I am a Mormon.

About Me

Currently, I am a college student studying Agronomy. I grew up on a farm and am very passionate about agriculture. My family owns a small herd of beef cattle and I have really come to love livestock. I love to travel and have been all over the United States. I thoroughly enjoy learning. One of my favorite things to do is to watch documentaries about anything, but my favorites are about history, animals and science. I put my studies on hold for 18 months to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Trujillo, Peru where I fell in love with the Spanish language and with the Latin Culture. I regularly keep in contact with my beloved friends who live so far away. I think about my experiences as a missionary each and every day. I loved sharing my beliefs of the Gospel of Jesus Christ each day with the people that I met. I am currently a Spanish tutor at my university to help other people come to know and love the language that has brought me so much happiness and has opened so many doors to me. This summer I will be doing an internship on a research farm in central Idaho studying drought tolerance in wheat as well as growth rates of other crops and pesticide management. I am very passionate about what I do, but mostly I love my Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of this church my whole life. I was born into the Gospel, and have stayed with it my whole life. Even though I was born into this Gospel, I have made my own choice to stay with this Church because I have sought for truth and have found it through personal revelation from my sincere searching and prayers. My testimony is one of my most precious possessions. I am given strength from my testimony in the knowledge that I have which is centered in the Savior Jesus Christ. I have seen so many blessings from my testimony that I have gained from prayer and sincere searching for prayer

How I live my faith

I have been an active part of the women organization in the Church called Relief Society. I have planned activities and coordinated with the other leaders of the Church to benefit the women in the church and with anyone else who needs assistance. I stay active as much as possible with teaching assignments as well. I love preparing lessons and being in front of a crowd of people to teach them from the scriptures I try to live each day to pray to my Father in Heaven and to plead for assistance to aid those in need and for His Spirit to guide me to choosing correct decisions each day. One thing that I have particularly done to put what I believe into action is to look for chances to serve others. I enjoy volunteering in whatever organization that I can get my name signed up for. I just try my hardest to live what I believe so that other people can get to know the Savior Jesus Christ through my actions, and have a desire to know more about the Lord.
