Hi I'm Marissa Ennis

I grew up in Castle Rock Colorado. I am 19 years old, I play Volleyball and Lacrosse. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi there, I am 19 years old and can't be more excited for life! I am currently attending BYU Idaho, studying Recreational Management emphasis in Therapy. This is my second semester and I absolutely LOVE it! All my life I have played Volleyball. While in high school I played Volleyball, Lacrosse, and was in Choir for all four years. I was also a part of the school musicals, which I absolutely enjoyed. Other things that I enjoy are hiking, camping, singing in the shower, dancing, running, playing sports, reading, writing, doing puzzles, and scrapbooking.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born into the church. Even though I have been a member of the church my whole life I still had to know for myself if this is what I wanted and if the things that the church teaches are true. There has never been a more happier time for me than when I am at church and serving others, or being served. There was a time when I questioned and wondered if this was what I really wanted. I prayed and studied for a long time and I found for myself that this church is true. This church is what I love, it has made me the person I am and helps me to develop into the woman I am to become. In this church I have been able to share my talents and gain new ones. I have always had a warm spirit with me and a smile on my face, people do notice that I am different and that I am happy being different. I know who I am, I am a daughter of God; he loves, guides, and protects me in all that I do. I am so thankful for my Savior and for all that he has done for me, I know that this church is true and I am so grateful for the blessings my family and I receive from it.

How I live my faith

I am currently a teacher for the women who are 18yrs. and older. Being able to teach is one of the biggest blessings in my life, this calling has been one of the most enjoyable, hardest, and most spiritual thing I have ever done. I have the amazing opportunity to teach women (most of which are all older than me) with immense faith; I learn so much from them and have gained a better understanding, knowledge, and testimony of our Savior and the love that he has for me, for all of His children. Every day I try to be my best and do that which is pleasing to my Heavenly Father. I try to be an example to my friends, siblings, and to those around me.
