Hi I'm Hunter

I grew up in Idaho Falls Idaho, I play tennis, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a senior in high school. I love to play tennis and absolutely love to ride dirt bikes. I work non-stop in the summer by teaching tennis, and moving pipe in a hay field. I do not work during school. I want to go to college when I come home from my mission. I have a wonderful family who support me with the things that I do. When I get older, I want to get married and start a family of my own. I love the outdoors. I love the mountains in the summer or winter. I love to hike with my family or friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this gospel is true. I know that we are blessed and watched over. I know that I can be with my family for all of eternity, and I am so grateful for righteous parents who have helped me gain a testimony of my own. I continue to build up that testimony, and I am grateful for the lord and all that he blessed me with. I love the standards and guidelines the church advises us to follow. It has made me the man that I am today, and it has helped me realize what I want most in this life. I love the lord with all of my heart, and I know that he loves and watches over me at all times. When I go out to serve for 2 years, I will have the greatest companion by my side every step of the way. I am a Mormon because I know that what the church testifies to be true, is indeed the truth.

How I live my faith

In the church, I am in charge of a group of boys who are of the age 16-18. I am also apart of this group because I am only 18, but I am responsible for helping the boys attend church and fulfill their responsibilities in the group. I am also going to be serving a full time mission soon. I already have my call, and I will be leaving everything I have ever known to serve the lord for 2 years. I am so excited to serve, and I wish I could leave sooner, even though it will be hard at first.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

I know that there is. Thomas S. Monson is a real and living prophet today who leads us and guides us in this modern time. He continues to send us living prophets with the same authority that Moses and other prophets had. Show more Show less

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Serving a mission is not something that is forced upon members. It is simply a responsibility given to all worthy young men to spread the lords gospel. It is just as important as fulfilling the simple responsibilities given to us. The lord asks us to serve, and we serve. Young women are not given that same responsibility, but they do have the choice to serve a mission as well. Show more Show less
