Hi I'm Michelle

I'm a future missionary, I love to ski and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I love to try new things! Whether its a new sport or an exotic dish I'm up for the experience. I enjoy reading, scuba diving, skiing, wake boarding, rock climbing, swimming, repelling, rafting, boating, dancing, laughing, talking, watching movies and etc. In fact it would be much quicker if I were to list the things I don't like. In my freely given opinion it is important to develop lots of skills and being open to new things, as you can tell through my simple, but not so simple delights! I hope to be able to inspire everyone around me and start by penetrating there minds with a small gesture, commonly known as the, SMILE :) Lots of me friends know me by my smile, and are surprised when I'm not grinning my way down the halls. I find that is the best way to inspire. In a world of frowning faces you are sure to stand out, don't believe me? Fine prove me wrong. ;)

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. So I have never truly known what it's like to not have the gospel, but that doesn't mean that I have never faced hardship. In fact I have been facing the biggest test of faith these past two years. Through my knowledge in the gospel I am able to receive the guidance that I need to get me through each day, and as I continue faithfully I know I will be able to over come anything that is put in my path! I know this gospel to be true and that the scriptures are the word of God, that are given to everyone for guidance in their lives. All you have to do is read them. I love the gospel and although I have never lived without it touching my life in someway, I wouldn't change a thing!

How I live my faith

Over the course of this quickly passing year, my faith in the Book of Mormon, our prophet Thomas S. Monson and Jesus Christ, has grown significantly. I see so many of my fellow senior friends who are struggling to find their way in the world. They are worried everyday for what the future can bring, and the stress of whats to come shows on their face. I am grateful for the consent knowledge that the Lord is helping me in my life. As long as I listen to him, I know that my life will work out much better than I can imagine. It is so comforting to have that kind of reassurance in my life and because it has made me happy I have found that I want others to feel that sense of peace in their lives too. I know everyone can feel happy once again, no matter what they have done. They can feel the love the Savior has to offer us, all we have to do is listen and follow where he wants us to go. Along with sharing the gospel I love to read the scriptures, they add a new sense of happiness to my life, that no other book can give. Along with the guidance of the scriptures, I rely on the guidance of Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father who love us so much that they are always there to help. It is through their love that I can wake up happy, and consistently smile throughout my day.
