Hi I'm Dakota Greenhalgh

I was born in Idaho but grew up in Utah. I will be serving a mission in Farmington, New Mexico, and I July 3rd, 2013.

About Me

I live in Pleasant View, Utah and I am 18 years old. I received my mission call in march 2013 and I'm going to the Farmington, New Mexico. I report to the MTC on July 3, 2013. I love to play sports and do any kind of physical activity. I play soccer and a lot of other sports. I love to do gymnastics and tricking. I also love to play music. I've played drums since i was 14 and have played the guitar for about a year.

Why I am a Mormon

I wish i could say that I made the choice on my own to join the church but I was pretty much expected to go to and was raised in the gospel. Even though I was born in the church doesn't mean I don't choose to go and don't love it though! I always have loved the gospel and going to church. I know that even if I wasn't forced to go to church I would have went anyways and made the right decisions. I am so greatful to live where I do and have such great influences in my live that make it easy to keep the commandments and do what I'm supposed to. I love my savior Jesus Chirst and know he lived and that he died for us. There is nothing that will ever change that and I can't wait to share what I know on my mission.

How I live my faith

I have a few calling in my ward and stake. My call in my priests quorum is 1st councelor. I help the members of my quorum with all of the resposibilites that come with being a priest and I also help the bishop and other young mens leaders make decisions. My other calling is in my stake's youth council. We represent our wards and help make decisions of stake youth activites. I also do monthy hometeaching with my hometeaching partener. I love doing it and I love the families I help teach. It's an amazing experience and has helped prepare me for serving a mission.
