Hi I'm Sydnie

I am a student, and am currently serving a mission, I love sharing my beliefs. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the church, my dad is a convert. I grew up in a small town. I am currently on a mission for the church and I am serving in the Omaha, Nebraska mission. When I return from my mission I will be studying to be an early elementary school teacher. I love to read and when I am not on my mission I would read anything good that I can get my hands on but my favorite is historical fiction. I enjoy doing family history and being able to do their temple work. I love to travel.

Why I am a Mormon

I did grow up in this faith. However I have had my own personal witness of the truth of the restored gospel, through many experiences. I know that this is the true church, that it is Jesus Christ's church restored through Joseph Smith. I have had numerous personal witnesses of our heavenly fathers love for me personally and how he knows my wants and needs. I know that Jesus Christ died for our sins, and that if we follow his plan we can return to live with him again. Our heavenly father loves us and because of his great love for us he has sent a prophet President Thomas S. Monson to lead and direct the church.

How I live my faith

I was a teacher for the women in my ward. I try to live by the commandments int eh bible and the Book of Mormon, and the words that our prophet tells to us.

To what do you attribute the growth of the Church?

Sydnie
I think it is the fact that it is true. When someone honestly searches to find out if this is the true church they find that it is true. I think that this church emphasizes things that are appealing to everyone such as the fact that families can be together forever. That everyone is a literal son or daughter of heavenly father, that he loves us and knows us individually and he wants the best for us. Show more Show less
