Hi I'm Heather

I grew up in Idaho, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up in a small town in southeastern Idaho. I play the piano, and I love music! I'm preparing to serve a mission, and when I return I plan to major in piano performance. I love developing and sharing this talent, and hopefully blessing the lives of others with it as well. I am the third out of four children, and my family means the world to me! I am blessed with wonderful parents who love and support me, and have taught me the gospel throughout my life. I hope to be that kind of parent to my children someday. My siblings are also great friends who love and support me, for which I am forever grateful.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church, and was baptized and confirmed when I was 8 years old. The gospel has brought countless blessings to my life and my family. I'm getting ready to serve a mission because I know that this Church is the only church on the face of the earth with the fulness of truth, and I want others to receive the blessings which come from that too. When I was very young, I decided to read the Book of Mormon to find out for myself if it is true, and I did come to that knowledge. I know that by the power of the Holy Spirit, anyone who has a sincere desire for truth and asks God, will receive the same answer that I did.

How I live my faith

I was lucky enough to be born to parents who are members of the Church. I was baptized and confirmed when I was 8 years old, and as I said, I am preparing to serve a mission! The gospel has brought countless blessings to my life and to my family as well. I try to pray and study my scriptures every single day, as well as learning more about the gospel through other literature, attending Church meetings, and taking classes through the Church's Institute program. I'm not perfect by any means, but I do as much as I can, and I know if I have faith in Him, the Lord will help me.
