Hi I'm AJ

I grew up on both coasts of the United States. I study Physics at BYU-Provo. I love to slackline. I love to hike. I'm a mormon.

About Me

As a Freshman in college, I am the luckiest person on Earth. I can take any class and learn about any subject. Right now, I'm just scratching the surface of the coolest major out there--Physics. I love Physics. I can and will talk about it all day. Although, once I finally tire of Physics, I go slacklining with friends, hiking and enjoy the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains or the steep mountains of northern Utah, skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, dirt biking, mountain biking, rock climbing, and pick-up games of any sport. Being outside and spending time with friends is what I do. Whatever way I can do that--for example, through all those awesome outdoor activities I just mentioned--I will do it.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because following the commandments Christ has given us gives me daily joy. I can notice a difference in my happiness when I stop following His teachings. I can notice the sincerity, kindness, and gratefulness that comes to me while I serve the Lord by serving and helping his children here on Earth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by studying the scriptures and pondering what I need to change in my life that I may become more like my Savior Jesus Christ. I pray to confirm the truths I learn and things I need to change in my life that I may receive a confirming witness from the Holy Ghost that it's all true. I am now serving as a full-time missionary in the Montana Billings Mission. I teach the gospel to those that want to hear it and invite them to be baptized as Jesus was and in His name. I love the gospel and that is how I live it.
