Hi I'm Josie

I'm a Mum, I work full time and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a single mum, my son and daughter are both grown-up now and have flown the nest but luckily for me they are only a few minutes away - I love them both to bits! I work full time in the local hospital, managing a database and training people to use it. I enjoy my job most of the time but always prefer weekends! I love to watch football and support Tottenham Hotspur! I do get a bit animated when watching and my son has said he would love to film me watching a game! can't think why!! My favourite thing to do when the weather allows is to go off camping by myself and spend time in the countryside watching and photographing birds, butterflies and other wildlife. I enjoy my church life and currently teach early morning seminary to a lovely group of teenagers! I love to study the scriptures and have always enjoyed reading. I love that now I can have the scriptures and all the church manuals on my Kindle and my Iphone and therefore have them to hand constantly. I am a Mormon and I know that Jesus Christ is my saviour.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the gospel is true and that this is the way I want to live my life. I want to emulate Jesus Christ and live in such a way that is pleasing to my Heavenly Father. I am a Mormon because it feels right. The Holy Ghost helps me to know the truth.

How I live my faith

I go to church on Sundays to take the sacrament and remember the Lord Jesus Christ. I love to see all my friends at church and enjoy the lessons where we get to learn from and to teach each other. I love to teach the youth in my calling as seminary teacher. I am also a visiting teacher, which means that once a month, with my companion (we go in pairs) we get to visit some lovely people, to take a message from the church and to spend some time together, getting to know each other and making sure that all is well
