Hi I'm Kyle Andrews

I grew up in Provo, Utah. I have a passion for life, leadership, and service. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to make people happy. I believe that happiness is essential in life, and I am committed to do anything in my power to make that a reality for everyone. I especially love being involved with various leadership and service opportunities. In high school especially I joined every club and organization offered at my school that I had an interest in, and could offer my help towards in some way. Now that I am in college, I still find myself involved in these same activities. I guess I find joy vicariously through others, as well as within myself. The feeling you get when you have made an impact on someones life is incredible, which is why I want so much to be able to help others. Aside from that, I love to cook. Cooking allows me to express myself, and to be creative and to have fun! I have always loved to cook and help out in the kitchen, and in high school I was even on a competitive culinary team. I just take life one day at a time, and make the most of it!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and its doctrines make sense to me. I know that God lives and that He loves each and every one of us. I have felt the power of the atonement in my life, and the Holy Ghost has testified to me that these teachings are true. I know that families can be together forever, and that we will have the opportunity to be with our loved ones again after this life. Through prayer, and personal experience, I was able to discover the truth in these teachings for myself. I am eager to continue to strengthen my faith, and to share this message with others, because I know that it is true.

How I live my faith

Charity is the pure love of Christ. Because of this, I try to follow Christ's example in my everyday life. I try to look for opportunities to serve others, and for ways that I can better myself. No one is perfect, and I am by no means an exception to that statement. We all make mistakes, but God is willing to forgive us for our shortcomings. The most rewarding thing about living my faith would have to be the blessings that we receive for doing so. God loves us and wants the best for each and every one of us, and when we obey Him, He blesses us in return. Currently I am serving in the Minneapolis Minnesota Mission. Missionary service is voluntary, we choose to serve a mission because of the desires in our hearts to share this message with others. Mahatma Ghandi once said "When one is in posession of absolute truth, it is imperitive to love." I love this message, and want others to have the opportunity to learn and to grow from this faith like I have been able to.
