Hi I'm Andres

I was born in Guanajuato Mexico, i then move to Carey Idaho when i was nine years old. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Mormon and i am proud of it. I got baptized into the church about a year ago. It took me a couple of years to finally commit and baptize. I guess the biggest issue i had was just committing to something. Later i finally realized that i really wanted to change my life for better and be a better human being and a better example to others. I am very grateful that i joined the church for all the great blessings that it has giving me in return. I am also grateful to say that up to this point, i have been an active member and doing all the things that can only bring me more blessings. Sometimes it gets a little hard being the only one in my family being a member, but thanks to the support and love from all my friends all over, i am able to keep striving forward.. I am also grateful to say that i have been a worthy member to have the opportunity to serve a mission. Serving a mission was one of the last things i thought about when i got baptize, but later i realize and was prompted to serve a mission. I just currently opened my mission call, and i am going to serve in the Mexico City Northwest mission. I am very excited about this and happy, though my dad is not what you can consider happy. I leave this summer, and i hope to share the light to those people that might not have a knowledge of the the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. As right now i am currently going to the Idaho State University where i am perusing the career of a pharmacist. And that's it, and I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because i love it. Being a Mormon has brought me so much knowledge, happiness, and comfort, not to mention the amazing people it had brought me to know.

How I live my faith

It's very simple the way i live my faith, and that is by obedience. I do what i am supposed to do with great happiness. I go to church, institute, read my scriptures, pray, and fallow the directly or indirectly counsel giving to me. Its wonderful to know that if we do our part, our Lord will always do his, which is blessing us more and more!

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

No. As far as i know it is not really required but it is strongly suggested to worthy young men! Though it is not a requirement, by the time you are ready to server a mission you will know whether you need to go or no. Show more Show less
