Hi I'm Shauna

I have been a Mormon all my life. I am a homemaker. I love the World

About Me

I think this world is amazing. I enjoy Heavenly Father's creations. I have six children. They are all very close to my husband and I. Some have strayed for a time from being active in the gospel--but none have ever lost their testimony of Jesus Christ. I love to have my children and my 22 grand children around me. I have had a child deal with cancer and have had a child die and through it all I have always known that Heavenly Father is there to lift and guide and comfort. I love to travel and see this wonderful world and those living in it. I enjoy making friends and sharing my beliefs by example as well as by word.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that I have a Father in Heaven who listens to me and helps me. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior. He suffered for all our sins so that if we try with all of our heart we can return to our Heavenly Father pure and perfect only because Jesus atoneed for our sins. I know that we have a living prophet on this earth today and that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon from ancient plates that were preserved for us. The true gospel is restored to the earth. I also know that I lived in heaven and was born on earth to have experinces and to progress that I and my family may return and live with God again. I am so excited to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I think honesty is very important and I try to be honest in all that I do. I try hard to compliment other people. My husband and I are currently preparing to serve a missiom for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We are so excited about this. I have held many positions in our church and loved them all. Serving in the church is exciting and by teaching and example we can help others to understand God's word and help their testimonies of the truth grow and flourish.
